Sacramental Welcome is a one-day, in-person spiritual retreat for Episcopalians ages 18+ who are part of the 2S/LGBTQIA+ community, their friends and allies in the Dioceses of Northern California and San Joaquin.

With a focus on Scripture, prayer and fellowship the retreat will take place on Saturday, September 26, at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, 9000 Sonoma Hwy. in Kenwood (Sonoma County). The day begins with a Check-in Coffee Klatch starting at 9 a.m. A guided Bible study, discussion and prayer focused on Sacramental Welcome will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a break for lunch. We will explore the times when you felt God welcoming you, when the welcome came via Scripture, and when it came through a church, with a final session on how we can extend God’s welcome to others. We will conclude the day by celebrating the Eucharist together. Cost is $20 and includes snacks and lunch. Scholarships are available.
